| Ceres Negros is back in the playoffs! AFC |

MANILA--Ceres Negros locked in a spot in the ASEAN Zone semifinals of the AFC Cup in style, romping Shan United on the road, 5-0, at the Thuwanna YTC Stadium in Yangon on Wednesday.
Bienve Maranon led the way for Negros with a brace as the club remains perfect in Group G and booked its way to the knockout stages by locking in the top seed in the said group with one match to spare.
Maranon opened the floodgates for Negros with a 38th minute strike before adding a penalty in the 43rd minute to put the team ahead, 2-0, before halftime.
He then completed a hat trick in the 71st minute to put Negros up 3-0.
Carli De Murga joined the goal fest as he gave Negros its fourth goal in the 80th minute.
Substitute OJ Porteria then put the icing on the cake in the 85th minute.
Negros can complete a 6-0 shutout with a home win against Becamex Binh Duong on May 15.
