QUEZON CITY--For the sixth straight year, Junemar Fajardo is the best player of the PBA Philippine Cup.

As highly anticipated by many, the San Miguel center captured his sixth consecutive Best Player of the Conference award for the season-opening conference as formalized on Wednesday night prior to Game 4 of the finals between his team and Magnolia at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Fajardo simply ruled all the categories, eventually getting a total of 1,165 points, nearly double the points second placer Sean Anthony had.

Fajardo, who led the statistical points race after the semifinals, got all the first place votes from the media, all but one of the first place votes from the players, and the first place vote of the PBA.

Anthony got a total of 641 points, while RR Pogoy was third with 522.

Stanley Pringle, despite getting most of the second place votes of the players, ended up in fourth with 473 points, while NorthPort teammate Mo Tautuaa finished fifth with 380.
