MANILA—Already qualified in the main draw for the FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup, Gilas Pilipinas Women still posted a statement on Thursday night, romping Vanuatu, 22-5, in Changsha.
Despite conceding a two-pointer from Pauline Malanga to start the game, it was all Gilas Women from thereon as they swept the Qualifying Pool A.
Gilas Women will face Japan at 4:30 p.m. and Sri Lanka at 5:40 p.m. Friday at the start of the main tournament.
