MANILA—Ginebra may have just pulled off the biggest on-season transfer so far in the 2019 PBA season.

And it's not even a trade.

The defending Commissioner's Cup champion acquired the services of former Meralco star Jared Dillinger on Friday.

PBA chief statistician, Fidel Mangonon, first reported the development via Twitter, and was made official by the league moments later.

The Bolts relegated Dillinger was relegated to the UFAWR2S list to make room for new acquisition Raymond Almazan, who was then placed in the injured list, giving the Barangay an opportunity to sign him up.

To make room for Dillinger, Ginebra placed Julian Sargent back in the reserves list just moments after he was activated for the injured Jeff Chan.

This will be the first time in his career that Dillinger will play for a San Miguel Corporation-owned club after spending his first 10 seasons with the MVP Group, the first five with TNT and the other five with Meralco.
