QUEZON CITY--Ray-Ray Parks will finally get a taste of PBA action right at the start of the mid-season Commissioner's Cup.
Blackwater will finally parade the six-foot-four winger, the second overall pick of last year's draft in the first game of the conference on May 19 against Meralco.
The showdown between the Elite and the Bolts will happen at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay at 4:30 p.m., just before the Alaska Aces take on the Columbian Dyip at 6:45 p.m. as per the full schedule released on Wednesday.
Action will then shift to the Ynares Center in Antipolo on May 22 as NorthPort makes its debut against Alaska at 4:30 p.m. and NLEX and TNT take on each other at 7 p.m.
On May 24, Ginebra gets its own first dose of Commissioner's Cup action as it battles Blackwater at 7 p.m. at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, right after the 4:30 p.m. clash between Columbian and Meralco.
Phoenix and Rain Or Shine, the top two seeds of the Philippine Cup playoffs only to be ousted in the semifinals, will make their respective debuts on May 31 back at the MOA Arena.
The Fuel Masters, parading former Aces import Rob Dozier, battle the Elite at 4:30 p.m., while the Elasto Painters, featuring former Magnolia Hotshots reinforcement Denzel Bowles, battle the Bolts at 7 p.m.
Magnolia and San Miguel, which are currently facing off in the Philippine Cup Finals, will return to play on June 5 back at "The Big Dome".
The Hotshots collide with the Aces in the first game, while the Beermen take on the Batang Pier in the nightcap.
To give Gilas Pilipinas more ample time to train for the FIBA World Cup, the PBA will hold doubleheaders on the Saturdays of the elimination round except for two occasions, in which the league will travel to Mindanao.
Magnolia and Meralco will clash in the lone June 29 game at the Vitaliano Agan Coliseum in Zamboanga City.
Two weeks later, ROS and SMB will slug it out at the Xavier University Gymnasium in Cagayan De Oro.
