MANILA—Blackwater recovered from an emotional loss to Phoenix with a 98-92 win over Rain Or Shine in the PBA Commissioner's Cup at the Ynares Center in Antipolo on Sunday night.

While Ray-Ray Parks was relatively quiet all game long, his Elite teammates stepped up as they quickly got back to their winning ways two nights after bowing to the Fuel Masters.

Blackwater slowly pulled away from ROS and took an 18-point lead, 76-58, late in the third quarter.

However, the E-Painters still had one last gasp, cutting the lead down to just four, 94-90, with only 22 seconds left.

But Mike DiGregorio sealed the win for the Elite with four straight clutch free throws.

Allein Maliksi made 19 points, four rebounds, two assists, and one steal off the bench for Blackwater, which moved up to 4-1.

DiGregorio and Parks each finished with 16 points each, while Alex Stepheson added 13 points, 20 rebounds, one assist, one block, and one steal.

Denzel Bowles erupted for 27 points, six rebounds, and three assists for ROS, which slipped to 0-2.
