BATANGAS CITY—Playing in arguably the most humid arena atmosphere it may have been in recent memory, Ginebra waxed hot.

The Barangay made quick work of the NLEX Road Warriors, 100-85, at the Batangas City Sports Coliseum on Sunday night.

In front of a crowd so packed enough to disrupt the air conditioners' flow inside the arena, leading to a moist flooring that led to players slipping inadvertently, Ginebra sizzled in the first quarter and eventually going full blast in the third for the rout.

Justin Brownlee collected 37 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, and five steals for the Barangay, who moved up to 4-3.

Stanley Pringle impressed in his Ginebra debut, leading the locals with 16 points, eight rebounds, three assists, and two steals.

Poy Erram put up 20 markers, 14 boards, and two dines for NLEX, which fell to 1-7.
