BIÑAN—Global Makati notched its first win of the PFL season after drubbing Air Force, 3-1, at the Biñan Football Stadium on Wednesday.

A late second half barrage lifted Global Makati to its first full three points following a first half disaster.

James Dorego made a huge blunder in the 32nd minute as he slotted the ball at Global Makati's own goal in a loose-ball scramble, putting Air Force on the board.

However, Kennedy Uzoka drilled in a rocket from way out in the 73rd minute that forced the match's one and only deadlock at 1-all.

Marvin Bricenio then blasted the go-ahead goal by Global Makati in the 86th minute, and Man of the Match Matthew Custodio delivered the dagger in the 90th minute.

Global Makati jumped to fifth place in the league table and will stay there the rest of the day following Kaya Iloilo's 6-3 win over Mendiola at the Rizal Memorial Stadium in Manila later Wednesday.

Kaya Iloilo averted Mendiola's early surprise to stay perfect after four matches.

After keeping a clean in the first three matches with Zach Banzon, Mike Casas, and Ace Villanueva each taking turns at the starting goalkeeper position, Kaya Iloilo finally conceded one goal in as Aaron Altiche put Mendiola on the board in the third minute.

However, Kaya Iloilo got the lead later in the first half as Jordan Mintah struck in the 11th minute and Shirmar Felongco scored the go-ahead goal in the 22nd minute.

Eric Giganto, who was initially credited for the Kaya Iloilo equalizer before it was corrected to have come from Mintah, finally got one in the 47th minute and added another at the hour mark or three minutes after Ash Flores drew Mendiola closer with the club's second goal.

Mintah then drilled back-to-back goals in the 85th and the 89th minutes to complete the breakaway for Kaya Iloilo with Mendiola's third goal from Alen Angeles sandwiched between the Mintah goals in the 88th minute.
