MANILA—Rain Or Shine frustrated Phoenix anew on Sunday night with an 89-82 win in the PBA Commissioner's Cup at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.

The Fuel Masters failed to sustain a relatively solid first half, and the Elasto Painters turned things around in the second half to steal the win.

Denzel Bowles dropped 28 points, 14 rebounds, five assists, one block, and one steal for ROS, which moved up to 2-2.

James Yap and Javee Mocon each scored 15 markers to lead the locals with the latter adding 10 rebounds for a double-double.

Richard Howell improved from his dismal outing the last time out with 27 points, 11 rebounds, three assists, and one block, but that could not keep Phoenix away from a second straight loss with Calvin Abueva and Coach Louie Alas still suspended.

Good thing for the squad, Alas will return to action on Saturday night, when it faces Alaska.
