BIÑAN—Stallion Laguna barged into the win column in the Philippines Football League season after drubbing Air Force, 3-0, at the Biñan Football Stadium on Saturday.

Warren Bedia's brace set the pace as Stallion Laguna, for the third straight season, got win number one in an official road game at its own turf.

Bedia struck first in the fifth minute, following up on a Jhan-Jhan Melliza miss.

Bedia added another in the 26th minute off another putback.

Nate Alquiros, who had his penalty saved, got back at Air Force keeper Kenneth Dolloso with the 76th minute dagger off the run.

With the win, Laguna jumped to third place with four points to show.

Air Force, on the other hand, remains without a point two matches in.

Meanwhile, at the PFF National Training Centre in Carmona, Ceres Negros grounded Global Makati, 8-0.

Bienve Marañon opened the game with a quick hat trick, his second straight this season, and eventually finished with four goals to lead Ceres Negros back on top of the table.

Marañon put Negros up, 3-0, in a flash, scoring goals in the ninth, 13th, and 33rd minutes.

Mike Ott scored a penalty just before halftime to stretch the defending champion's lead to four.

Mahir Karic then joined the fun with a brace in the 79th and 85th minutes with Marañon's fourth goal sandwiched between them in the 81st minute.

Jeffrey Christaens put the exclamation point to the Negros with an 87th minute goal.

Negros remains unbeaten with two wins and one draw for seven points, zooming past idle Kaya Iloilo in the table.

Also, Negros built a huge goal difference which could be vital should both squads end up tied for first place at the end of the season.

Makati, on the other hand, sank to the bottom of the table due to an inferior goal difference over Air Force.
