MANILA—Bataan made quick work of a Muntinlupa squad reeling from Coach Ritchie Melencio's absence with an 83-56 rout in the MPBL Lakan Season at the Caloocan Sports Complex on Tuesday night.
The Risers quickly opened a double-digit lead against the Cagers and never looked back, even bringing the lead to its largest at 27 right before the final whistle.
Alvin Pasaol made 20 points on 8-of-11 shooting, seven rebounds, one assist, and one block off the bench for Bataan, which moved up to 3-3.
Santi Santillan added 15 points and eight rebounds.
Edzel Mag-Isa put up a double-double of 17 points and 13 rebounds with one assist and one block for Muntinlupa, which slipped to 2-5.
