MANILA—The clash between Manny Pacquiao and Keith Thurman for the WBA welterweight super title is officially on as both pugilists made weight during the official weigh-in on Saturday (Philippine Time).

Pacquiao and Thurman both weighed in at 146.5 pounds, well within the 147-pound limit.

The said showdown set for Sunday (Philippine Time) is technically a unification bout as Thurman holds the super title and Pacquiao has the regular belt.

But with the super belt having a better significance than the regular championship, Pacquiao was essentially stripped of the regular belt, making him the challenger to Thurman's super title.
