San Juan clobbers Parañaque to go 6-0 in MPBL

MANILA—San Juan continued its impressive title defense bid in the MPBL Lakan Season after blasting Parañaque, 81-65, at the Caloocan Sports Complex on Tuesday night.

The Knights gradually pulled away from the Patriots, even opening a lead as high as 23 points late in the fourth quarter before their foes closed the game on a 9-2 run.

Mac-Mac Cardona put up 16 points, two rebounds, and four assists off the bench for San Juan, which remains unbeaten at 6-0.

Larry Rodriguez added 13 points, four rebounds, one assist, and two blocks, while John Wilson flirted with a double-double after amassing 10 rebounds and nine points with two assists and four steals.

Keith Pido made 10 markers, one assist, and one steal for Parañaque, which lost for the third straight time, dropping to 2-5.
