PASIG--Jordan Clarkson is not the only surprise addition in the Gilas Pilipinas Men pool for the FIBA World Cup.
As the SBP bared the national team pool late Monday night, it was revealed that Chris Standhardinger and Stanley Pringle are also part of the 19-man lineup.
Similar to the case of Clarkson, FIBA considers Standhardinger and Pringle as naturalized players as they only attained their Philippine passports after they turned 16 years old.
However, the SBP has been exerting its efforts in hopes for FIBA to reclassify the said players as locals.
The 14 players who showed up in the Monday night national team practice at the Meralco Gym led by Andray Blatche were also included in the pool.
Completing the pool are Poy Erram and Japeth Aguilar.
