PASIG--Adelaide avenged its defeat against Gilas Pilipinas Men on Friday night with an 85-75 win in their rematch at the Meralco Gym on Sunday night.

The 36ers broke loose late in the first quarter, opening a 16-2 run within the last five minutes of the period to go up, 29-13.

The lead eventually swelled to as high as 21 points, 65-44, late in the third quarter.

Gilas Men still threatened in the fourth quarter, cutting the lead down to just seven points, 80-73, with two minutes left, but that was all they could inch closer.

Andray Blatche led Gilas Men with 16 points, six rebounds, five assists, two blocks, and two steals.

In his first game back after a long FIBA suspension, Kiefer Ravena added 11 points, two rebounds, and one steal.
