MANILA—Baguio continues its Thursday surge and is now pulling away in the medal tally in the Batang Pinoy National Finals in Puerto Princesa City.

As of 6 p.m., Baguio now has 21 golds, 18 silvers, and 29 bronzes.

This essentially means that Baguio added four more golds from the previous medal tally update.

On the other hand, Cebu City, Quezon City, and Davao City are tied with 16 golds each.

Cebu City currently owns second place as the team as more silver medals with 19 compared to QC (14) and Davao City (12).

Not far behind are Pasig, Laguna, and Cotabato Province with 14 golds each.

The medal tally could take a major shakeup as a huge number of medals are on the line in the penultimate day of the event on Friday.
