Gilas Men caps Spain tour with repeat over Ivory Coast

MANILA—Gilas Pilipinas Men capped the main highlight of its training camp in Spain in style, beating Ivory Coast again, 73-63, in the Torneo De Malaga early Sunday (Philippine Time).

Denied of a chance to meet Spain by Congo on Saturday (Philippine Time), Gilas Men vented ire on Ivory Coast defensively, holding its opponent to just 42 points after three quarters en route to the win.

Robert Bolick made 19 points, seven rebounds, and one assist for Gilas Men, who will still hold practices in Spain before returning home on Tuesday.

Andray Blatche added 18 points, 18 rebounds, four assists, one block, and three steals.

Deon Thompson made 20 points, 11 rebounds, three assists, and one block for Ivory Coast.
