LIPA--Kaya Iloilo won it late against Green Archers United with the lone goal of their PFL match at the Aboitiz Pitch on Wednesday night.

Jordan Mintah struck the game-winner for Kaya Iloilo with only a few minutes left to break the hearts of GAU, which bungled a chance to go ahead earlier in the second half.

In the 66th minute, John Marcellana got a clean look for his shot, but the ball hit the top post before seemingly going back to play.

Twenty minutes later, Mintah breached Henri Bendeken's goal mouth, finishing off a Jalsor Soriano feed for the go-ahead strike.

GAU still had one chance to at least force the draw, but Ace Villanueva saved Kaya Iloilo's cause as he tipped Greggy Yang's free kick from the left flank.

Kaya Iloilo is momentarily tied with Ceres Negros, which is facing Stallion Laguna later Wednesday, at the top spot in the team standings.

GAU, on the other hand, missed out on tying Stallion Laguna for third place.

Air Force 1 Mendiola 0

Meanwhile, Air Force shocked the PFF National Training Centre in Carmona after edging Mendiola, 1-0.

Darl Poderoso scored the lone goal of the match in the 84th minute as Air Force scored only its second win of the season.

Air Force is now with seven points after 13 matches, just three points behind Mendiola for fifth place.
