MANILA—Makati made quick work of hapless SOCCSKSARGEN and won, 106-70, in the MPBL Lakan Season at the STRIKE Gym in Bacoor on Tuesday night.
The Skyscrapers mauled the Marlins, 26-8, in the first quarter and never looked back.
Edwin Asoro made 18 points on a perfect 6-for-6 shooting inside the three-point arc, seven rebounds, one assist, and one steal for Makati, which zoomed up to 9-1.
John Rey Villanueva added 14 points, three rebounds, one assist, two steals, and one block.
Jerome Juanico came up with 19 markers, two rebounds, three assists, and one steal for SOCCSKSARGEN, which fell to 0-10.
