PBA names Jones, Castro as Best Import, Best Player of the Conference

QUEZON CITY - Ahead of Game 4 of the PBA Commissioner's Cup Finals between the San Miguel Beermen and the TnT KaTropa, the PBA awarded the Best Import and the Best Player of the Conference.

Four nominees for Best Import were revealed: TnT's Terrence Jones, San Miguel's Chris McCullough, Ginebra's Justin Brownlee and Rain or Shine's Carl Montgomery.

Jones bagged the citation which was awarded by Commissioner Willie Marcial along with representatives from the Games and Amusements Board.

On the other hand, five names vied for the Best Player of the Conference, three of which were rookies; NorthPort's Robert Bolick, Blackwater's Bobby Ray Parks and Columbian's CJ Perez.\

Joining the nominees were TnT's Jayson Castro and San Miguel's June Mar Fajardo.

Castro was awarded the Best Player of the Conference.
