MANILA - Green Archers United FC went back to winning form after defeating Philippine Air Force FC in the first of the two-game offering of the Philippines Football League on Saturday at the Aboitiz Pitch in Lipa City, Batangas.

Paolo Bugas opened up the scoring in the match with the ball finding the back of the net 17 minutes after the game kicked off.

The Green Archers doubled their advantage against the Air Force, 41 minutes unto the game through a goal scored by team captain Tating Pasilan.

If it is not too much beating to take on the side of the Air Force, they found themselves giving up a penalty kick just before halftime, with Tonaldo scoring the 3rd goal on the 44th minute.

Coming off the halftime break, ageless Pasilan proved he still got that game by scoring his brace on the 54th minute of the game, making it a 4-0 advantage for the Green Archers.

Darl Poderoso, however, did not let his team to walk out of the match without scoring a goal as he was able to clinch one in at the 63rd minute.
