Three-goal blitz lifts Ceres Negros past Stallion Laguna

LIPA--Ceres Negros used a three-goal barrage in a span of six minutes and eventually romped Stallion Laguna, 5-0, in the nightcap of the PFL doubleheader at the Aboitiz Pitch on Wednesday.

Bienve Maranon led the Ceres Negros attack with a 32nd minute goal to put the club on the board.

Mike Ott then made it 2-0 with a goal of his own in the 35th minute before Carlie De Murga capped the late first half storm for Ceres Negros with his 38th minute attack.

Robert Lopez Mendy joined the scoring parade after drilling Ceres Negros' fourth goal in the 64th minute before Maranon sealed a brace and the win with his 88th minute strike.

Ceres Negros is now solely on top of the league table again with 31 points, while Stallion Laguna remains in third place with 21.
