CAPAS—Andray Blatche took to Twitter to say that he is taking responsibility for Gilas Pilipinas Men's tough loss against Italy at the start of the FIBA World Cup at the Foshan International Sports and Cultural Arena on Saturday night.

"I take 100% responsibility in that game. No energy or puso. That's on me," Blatche said in the said tweet, which he posted just by the Sunday sunrise.
The former NBA veteran had a relatively decent statline of 15 points, 10 rebounds, two assists, and two steals in 30 and a half minutes for Gilas Men, but he committed nine turnovers in the loss.

"No excuses," he further tweeted.

He then vowed to perform better against Serbia in a do-or-die showdown on Monday night.

"I owe better to all of you," he concluded.
