While Robert Mendy accomplished yet another hat trick en route to Man of the Match honors, Ceres Negros actually played balanced offense as five different players scored for the reigning champ.

After interestingly slowing down in the first 31 minutes of the game, Bienve Maranon broke the ice for Ceres Negros with a 32nd minute goal.

OJ Porteria then sparked Ceres Negros' breakaway with a 36th minute goal to make it 2-0.

Mendy then began his hat trick conquest with a 40th minute goal to up further the lead to three.

However, it would take another 33 minutes--or 28 minutes into the second half--before Mendy scored again.

It did not last long before Mendy completed his hat trick with a 76th minute goal to make it 5-0.

Mike Ott joined the fray with an 81st minute strike before Dennis Villanueva capped the rout with an 87th minute goal.

Ceres Negros scored its 14th straight win and remains unbeaten after 15 matches with 43 points, reopening a six-point lead against Kaya Iloilo ahead of their huge clash on Wednesday night at the said venue.

Air Force, on the other hand, failed to overtake Mendiola, which only drew with Global Makati earlier Saturday, in fifth place.
