PASAY CITY - The hot shooting duo of Aljun Melecio and Encho Serrano teamed up to lift the Archers to a win to end the first round of eliminations on a high note, Saturday afternoon at the Mall of Asia Arena.
With that, the Green Archers improves their score card to 3-4.
Player of the game, Serrano, scored a career high 29 points with a 13 out of 22 field goal shooting while Melecio scored 26 points, 18 which came from deep.
Brent Paraiso shined for the Tigers with 9 out of 11 field goal shooting, 9 points coming from rainbow country. This was Paraiso's first game against his former school. Chabi Yo copped another double double with 16 points and 14 rebounds. The Tigers go down to 4-3 to end the first round of eliminations.
