PASAY CITY -- The Colegio de San Juan Knights took a commanding victory against the College of Saint Benilde Blazers, 88-64, Friday afternoon at the Cuneta Astrodome.
Jerrick Balanza celebrated his birthday in style, leading the Knights to victory by finishing with 26 points.
The Knights were relentless from the start of the ballgame up until the final whistle, not giving the Blazers a chance to take command of the ball game.
Still, tensions flared up a bit after the final two minute mark of the ball game as Chris Flores and Fran Yu had a heated argument that was broken off quickly by the referee.
Flores was called for a foul while Allen Mina and another player from the Blazers were called for a double technical foul for unsportsmanlike conduct.
