MANILA—No Dusan Bulut? No problem!

Novi Sad still turned out to be just too strong for Isabela City despite Bulut's absence, winning, 22-14, in the FIBA 3x3 Sukhbaatar Challenger on Friday.

Dejan Majstorovic and Marko Savic connived as Novi Sad opened a 7-1 lead.

Although Franky Johnson momentarily caught fire to cut Novi Sad's lead to just two, 8-6, the club continued to dominate, and Majstorovic delivered the knockout blow with a two-pointer with 2:35 to play.

Majstorovic made eight points, while Savic added six for Novi Sad, which will still await the result of the Isabela City-Ventspils Ghetto game later Friday to determine if it will make the playoffs on Saturday.

Johnson put up six markers for Isabela City, which needs to beat Ventspils to boost its playoff bid.

The Scores:

Novi Sad 22 - Majstorovic 8, Savić 6, Zdero 4, Ivosev 4.

Isabela City 14 - Johnson 6, Hammonds 4, Rountree 3, Banal 1.
