MANDALUYONG--Wilkin's Balanga finished the Leg 6 final of the Chooks-To-Go Pilipinas 3x3 MelMac Cup Season 2 and turned back Big Boss Cement Porac, 21-19, at Gold's Gym Sheridan on Thursday.

Balanga actually had a fiery start as Alvin Pasaol drained back-to-back deuces and Aris Dionisio made a layup for a 5-0 lead.

However, Ryan and Nikki Monteclaro began catching fire later on as Porac crept back and even took a 19-18 lead with 3:57 to go.

Balanga stole the win after scoring the last three points of the match with 3:39 to spare.

Pasaol finished with 13 points for Balanga, which won PHP100,000 as well for ruling the leg, the last leg of the season and the last tournament in the Philippines' bid to secure a spot in next year's OQT.

Dionisio added four points, while Karl Dehesa and Chris De Chavez each got two.

After ruling five of the six legs in Season 2, Balanga racked up a total of PHP500,000

Ryan Monteclaro ended up with 10 markers for Porac, which took home PHP30,000 for the second place finish.

Basilan captured third place and walked away with PHP20,000.
