BIÑAN—Ceres Negros pulled off a second half comeback to notch its first win in the Copa Paulino Alcantara, beating the Azkals U22 team, 2-1, at the Biñan Football Stadium on Wednesday night.

Yrick Gallantes put the Nationals on top with a 30th minute goal after finding himself with just Ronilo Bayan to beat.

However, Dylan De Bruycker equalized after finding some space from the right flank in the 61st minute.

Robert Mendy iced the comeback with his game-winning header in the 86th minute.

Following Mendiola's 1-0 win against Green Archers United at the Aboitiz Pitch, both Mendiola and Ceres Negros are tied for first place in Group A with four points each.

Ceres Negros, however, is ahead on goals made.

The U22 Azkals, meanwhile, dropped to third place with three points.
