FEU prevents UP's comeback with an OT win

PASAY CITY - The FEU Tamaraws fights and starts the second round with a win as they take down the Perasol-less UP Fighting Maroons with 82-79, Sunday evening at the Mall of Asia Arena.

With the Tamaraws win, they now join UST and La Salle on triple tie at 4-4 while UP is now on 5-3.

Captain Ken Tuffin led the Tamaraws win with his season high 18 points, 5/6 three field goals, five rebounds, and one steal. L-Jay Gonzales got also his career high with 17 points, 12 rebounds, six assists and one steal. Pat Tchuente and Xyrus Torres chipped in 14 and 12 points for the Tamaraws win.

Kobe Paras led the Maroons with 22 points together with Bright Akhuetie with 14 points but still failed to gain win for the Fighting Maroons.
