PASAY CITY - FEU Tamaraws get back on the UST Growling Tigers with a big win of 72-58, on their second match-up for this rivalry game, Sunday evening at the Mall of Asia Arena.
With the Tamaraws win, FEU is now on 5-5 tied with UST.
FEU Tamaraws guards L-Jay Gonzales and Royce Alforque led the Tamaraws charge with 17 and 16 points respectively. This is also Royce Alforque's career-high game with 7/8 field goals, four rebounds, and six assists.
Brent Paraiso led the Growling Tigers with his 12 points, four rebounds, two assists and a steal while Rhenz Abando and Zach Huang chipped in 11 and 11 points respectively.
FEU Tamaraws will now focus on their next game against the unbeaten Ateneo Blue Eagles on Wednesday, October 16, 12:00 p.m., at the Mall of Asia Arena while the UST Growling Tigers will next face the NU Bulldogs on Saturday, October 19, 2:00 p.m., at the Ynares Center Antipolo.
