LIPA--Green Archers United eked out a 1-0 victory over Air Force in the final game of the PFL season at the Aboitiz Pitch on Saturday night.
Marvin Angeles struck the marginal goal for GAU off a Tonaldo Appiah cross just before halftime as the home side closed out the season with the full three points.
GAU, which finished with the highest rank among the three expansion clubs this year at fourth place overall behind stable powers Ceres Negros, Kaya Iloilo, and Stallion Laguna, finished the season with 35 points.
Air Force, meanwhile, finished in sixth place with 11 points.
