ROS snaps skid with romping of Blackwater

PASAY--Rain Or Shine broke loose late and mauled Blackwater, 99-82, in the PBA Governors' Cup at the Cuneta Astrodome on Wednesday night.

In a game that saw both teams exchanging spurts per quarter, the Elasto Painters walked victorious as they outscored the Elite, 30-15, in the final frame to pull away for good.

Rey Nambatac made 18 points, seven rebounds, seven assists, and two steals for ROS, which snapped a four-game losing streak and tied its victim at 2-5, keeping its hopes of making the quarterfinals alive.

Beau Belga and new import Kwame Alexander each added 17 points with Belga going 6-for-6 from the field.

Ray-Ray Parks made 27 points, 11 rebounds, and one steal, while Marqus Blakely added 21 points, 12 rebounds, five assists, four steals, and two blocks for Blackwater.
