LIPA—Romeo Travis showed that he is healthy again as Magnolia repulsed Columbian, 118-103, in the PBA Governors' Cup at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City on Sunday night.
Playing in his second game back from an ankle injury that sidelined him against the Blackwater Elite, Travis put up great numbers for the Hotshots, tallying 28 points, eight rebounds, six assists, two steals, and two blocks while leading their gradual breakaway in the final three quarters.
Ian Sangalang added 24 points on 11-of-15 shooting, eight rebounds, and one assist off the bench as Magnolia moved up to 4-4.
Jio Jalalon came close to a triple-double after tallying 19 points, nine rebounds, and eight assists with one steal and one block.
CJ Perez tallied 28 points, eight rebounds, three assists, and one steal for Columbian, but he too had seven turnovers.
Khapri Alston made 26 markers, 14 caroms, three dimes, one steal, and one block.
