QUEZON CITY--Chris Newsome, CJ Perez, Jason Perkins, and Mo Tautuaa were named to the Gilas Pilipinas 3x3 team that will play in the inaugural Southeast Asian Games 3x3 event.

In a statement late Sunday night, the SBP formally named the four aforementioned players into the "final roster" of the Gilas 3x3 squad.

Although Gilas Men 5-on-5 coach Tim Cone clarified earlier Sunday that changes can still be made before the managers' meeting that will finalize the teams' 5-on-5 and 3x3 rosters for the SEA Games, one can deduce that the SBP is now certain to stick with Newsome, Perez, Perkins, and Tautuaa.

The four players have always been present during practice, which takes place right after the 5-on-5 pool is done with its own training at the Meralco Gym in Pasig.

Recent practices, however, have seen these four ballers only in attendance, a hint that the final lineup has already been set way before the formal announcement.

The SEA Games 3x3 event will happen on Dec. 1-2 at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan City.
