MANILA—The PBA trade committee was actually busy over the Halloween break that it decided to announce the approval of the Ray-Ray Parks trade on a Sunday.

Commissioner Willie Marcial made the TNT-Blackwater swap that will bring Parks to the former official right at the final day of the long weekend.

In exchange, the Elite will get Don Trollano, Anthony Semerad, and the KaTropa's 2021 first round pick.

Initially, Blackwater was only to take Trollano and TNT's 2021 pick along with its 2019 first rounder.

However, the KaTropa tweaked their trade package to be sent to the Elite, bringing in Semerad instead of the 2019 pick.

The acquisition of Parks came at a timely moment for TNT, which looks to take the top seed in the quarterfinals of the Governors' Cup.

The KaTropa will face Barangay Ginebra on Friday night.

Meanwhile, Trollano is set to make his Blackwater debut against San Miguel on Wednesday night.

Semerad, on the other hand, is currently in Australia.
