MANILA—The PBA has finally given the green light to the other trade proposal that was agreed upon during the final week of the Southeast Asian Games.

On Friday, the league's commissioner's office approved the straight up one-on-one trade between Columbian and Magnolia. The trade had Aldrech Ramos returning to the Dyip and Jack Corpuz heading to the Hotshots.

The said swap was the first transaction that was consummated after the PBA reopened the transfer window on Monday, the day after the draft. However, it took four more days before the approval was made.

Ramos looks to rejuvenate his career with Columbian, where he already played for during the 2016 season. Interestingly enough, he was traded to Magnolia afterward.

Meanwhile, the Hotshots, who reportedly requested Corpuz to be part of the trade, got what they want as he is set to shore up their frontline.
