Coach Noel Marcaida parts ways with Kaya-Iloilo FC

MANILA - Ahead of Kaya-Iloilo FC's match in the AFC Cup, Coach Noel Marcaida took to social media to announce that he has parted ways with the team, Thursday night.

In a lengthy Instagram post, which was also reflected on his Facebook account, Marcaida made an announcement that he will no longer call the shots for Kaya-Iloilo FC, to which he served as gaffer for 3 years.

Marcaida took pride in steering Kaya-Iloilo as the inaugural champions of the Copa Paulino Alcantara that allowed them to represent the country in the AFC Cup. He was also at the helm as Kaya had its runner-up finish in the 2019 Season of the Philippines Football League.

While Marcaida is up to take other path, he mentioned that the team will always have a special place in his heart and that he is also grateful for the unwavering support of their 12th man; Ultras Kaya. He ended his post in wishing nothing but the best for Kaya-Iloilo.
