MANILA - After their successful run in the 3rd season of the Philippines Football League, Green Archers United FC announced their leave of absence from the league ahead of its forthcoming season.
The Green Archers United posted the announcement on their official social media pages, citing that their decision to defer joining the 4th season of the PFL was a result of a thorough assessment and consultation that also involved their sponsors.
Despite their looming absence in the league, Green Archers United will continue to support the grassroots development of football in the country through their youth program, as well as their outreach football school; Muntinglupa FC. The team will also remain as a staunch supporter of the Women's Football League and the Youth Football League along with their commitment to be involved in new initiatives that may be of greater impact for the development of Philippine Football.
