PASIG--TNT bolstered its backcourt for the upcoming PBA season by taking Ed Daquioag from Rain Or Shine in a trade approved by the league's commissioner's office on Tuesday.

In exchange, the KaTropa gave the Elasto Painters three future second round picks, their own 2020 second rounder, the 2021 pick they got from the NorthPort Batang Pier, and the 2022 selection they acquired from the San Miguel Beermen.

Daquioag was third among locals in scoring for ROS during the Governors' Cup, averaging 6.2 points in 19 and a half minutes a game alongside 1.8 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 0.5 steal, and 0.4 block.

He is the second guard taken by TNT in the transfer window after Simon Enciso.
