CARMONA--Dominic Tom won it for NCR in extra time as the team beat Negros Occidental, 1-0, to win the PFF U15 Boys National Championship at the PFF National Training Centre on Friday.

With both teams' defense holding fort in regulation, leading to a goalless deadlock after 90 minutes, Tom found the opening for the lone goal of the match, heading it in from inside the box in the 95th minute.

NCR, represented by Makati FC, then kept Negros Occidental from getting a decent attempt at goal the rest of the overtime period to seal the championship.

Tom's heroics boosted his bid for the tournament's MVP, which he eventually won.

Meanwhile, Davao-South sizzled in extra time to turn back Mount Apo, 5-1, in the bronze medal match.

After a 1-1 stalemate after regulation, Davao-South dominated the extension, starting with a Saidamin Bacol goal in the 96th minute.

Uriel Dalapo, who scored the opening goal for Davao-South in the 11th minute that was canceled by Kurt Sarip's 52nd minute equalizer, completed his brace with a 98th minute goal, while Gian Satirani put up his own brace with goals in the 102nd and 119th minutes.
