MANILA—Joshua Munzon and Alvin Pasaol will lead the way for Gilas Pilipinas 3x3 in the inaugural FIBA 3x3 OQT in Bengaluru next month.

The SBP revealed on Tuesday that Munzon and Pasaol, the top two players in the Philippine 3x3 circuit, made the final roster for Gilas 3x3 in the said event.

FIBA rules mandate participating countries to have at least two players in their respective teams coming from the Top 10 in the domestic 3x3 rankings.

In fact, two more players from the Top 10, Karl Dehesa (fourth) and Santi Santillan (sixth), were named as reserves.

On the other hand, PBA stars Mo Tautuaa and CJ Perez are the other two members of Gilas 3x3's final lineup.

Tautuaa and Perez are members of the Gilas 3x3 squad that won the gold in the inaugural Southeast Asian Games 3x3 event in San Juan City last December.

Meanwhile, Stefan Stojacic, who has been overseeing the Gilas 3x3 training since the pool was formed, will coach the squad for the OQT from March 18-22.
