MANILA – Last season’s runner-up ONIC PH get their first win of the season in quick fashion as they sweep Execration 2-0 in the final match of the first round of the Mobile Legends Bang Bang Professional League - Philippines.
ONIC PH took the first win, fielding a support-laden lineup of Diggie and Nana supporting Wise’s Karrie.
Wise dealt 12 of 17 total kills for ONIC PH along with three assists, as Fuzaken’s Diggie and OhMyV33nus’s Nana combining for 20 assists.
Execration tried to bounce back as they now field a two-support lineup of Carmilla and Nana along with Ling as assassin, while ONIC PH opted for a stun-heavy lineup with Estes and Harith.
It was the ONIC PH show in the second game as they trounced Execration, 18-0, getting the win and the series sweep.
All but Dlar’s Chou brought a gold medal performance with Iy4knu getting eight of 18 kills along with eight assists.
