MANILA--Is Global Makati really stable enough again?

Just when many thought the embattled former top division champion is doing good again financially after announcing blockbuster signings last January, someone who acted as its graphics designer before bared that he is still yet to be paid by the club.

Saya Jaruda posted in his Facebook page late Sunday night that Global Makati has not yet paid him for providing the club graphics announcing its new acquisitions.

"I want to call out Global FC and its management due to non-payment of my services," Jaruda's statement began.
He then relayed that Global Makati promised last January that he will be paid for the graphics announcing John Cofie, John Villareal, and Ryo Fujii as the club's new foreign players but until now, he has not gotten the payment.

While the new ownership group, Mazinyi Management, promised him to be paid soon, Jaruda fumed after seeing posts of its owner, Tami Mazinyi, partying without paying him up, leading to his rant.

Cofie, however, thickened the plot as he himself commented in Jaruda's post that he too has yet to get his salary.

"Global as a club is a sham. The owner, Tami, is [a] compulsive liar! Me and my representatives are going after the club too as they owe me [the] signing fee plus 6 months worth of wages!" The former England U-17 team player said.

Global Makati has yet to make a statement regarding Jaruda and Cofie's revelations as of posting.

The PFL has not yet made its own statement too, although possible sanctions are expected to be meted out.

Currently, Jaruda is behind the graphics of ongoing podcasts like the Eat, Sleep, Breathe Football Podcast and those of the Tiebreaker Vodcast Network.
