MANILA--In what could be the next step toward a possible move overseas, Greg Slaughter announced that he signed with a top international basketball agency.

"I am very happy to announce that I’ve signed with Misko Raznatovic, owner of BeoBasket, the biggest international basketball agency in the world," the seven-foot center said via Instagram on Friday.

Already in the business for 25 years, BeoBasket has been involved in the business transactions of many international players, primarily European ones.

The biggest name in the current players Raznatovic handles is Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic. BeoBasket also manages Boban Marjanovic, Ivica Zubac, and Dario Saric.

Raznatovic also made possible the move of former NBA superstar Deron Williams to Turkish club Beskitas in 2011 and has since become the player's agent.

BeoBasket also handles players strutting their wares in Europe and Asia.

Slaughter has been rumored for a tryout to an NBA G League team as revealed by his former coach, Tim Cone, in the Coaches Unfiltered podcast.

Cone said in the ClutchPoint Podcast on Thursday night that the door remains open for Slaughter to come back to Ginebra.

"Greg is totally welcome to come back to Ginebra, and we would bring him back with open arms," Cone said.

Regardless of where he eventually ends up playing, Slaughter vowed that he will represent the Philippines.

"Wherever my journey takes me, I will always proudly represent the Philippines, especially our national team," he further said as he reiterates that he is setting his sights to be part of Gilas Pilipinas Men for the 2023 FIBA World Cup.
