MANILA—Despite a move to National University reportedly getting imminent, it seems like Jeff Napa is keeping his current spot as coach of Centro Escolar University.
A person knowledgeable of the developments told Dugout Philippines on Friday that Napa "remains committed" to the Scorpions.
"Napa has committed to stay on as the Scorpions' head coach for now," the source added.
The latest development has just created a dilemma as ESPN 5 first reported on Thursday that Napa is now working on his exit from the CEU.
Napa, who played for the Bulldogs from 1998-2002, is being tapped to replace Goldwyn Monteverde as their head coach.
Prior to accepting the CEU post, Napa was Letran's head coach and is currently its team consultant.
