MANILA - Aura PH secures another win in the bag as they take down Execration 2-1 in Week 5 MPL-PH Season 6 last Saturday.
It was a season sweep for Aura PH with a 2-0 overall series win over their opponents with four of six games going to Aura's favor.
The two-time defending champs secured two points after Execration forced a rubber match with a close 11-9 win in the second game, after Aura clamped a 23-9 win in the first game.
With the Selena left open after the first three bans, Aura secured the frequently-banned hero with Greed on the helm before getting their core of Yi Sun-shin for Jaypee.
It was a one-sided third game for the boys in orange as they secured kill after kill thanks to Selena and Yi Sun-shin, and getting more objectives along the way.
No sanctuary lord was needed for the side of Aura PH as they toppled the first Execration inhibitor turret a minute before end game before ending the series in a 21-4 third game.
Aura secured a probationary first place in Group A with a 7-1 slate, while Execration settled for third with three wins and four losses.
The defending champions will try to for 2-0 this week as they battle Cignal Ultra on Sunday, while Execration will try to bouce back against a still winless Blu Fire on September 25.
