Bren Esports extends their winning streak as they take down ONIC PH, 2-0 in Week 5 of MPL-PH Season 6.
It was a fairly fast match in favor of Bren Esports which only needed less than 30 minutes in total to sweep the MPL-PH Season 5 runners-up.
Game 1 goes well for the two sides who are looking to improve their standing to the incoming playoffs, up to last three minutes, where Bren Esports found an opening and pile crucial kills led by KarlTzy's Lancelot.
With the sanctuary lord in their side, Bren claimed the first game 13-12 with Ribo's Uranus getting the MVP nod with four kills and six assists.
Bren continued to stood strong against their opponents in the second game, keeping a steady gold lead despite a slim kill advantage in the first ten minutes.
With Dlar and OhMyV33nus as the only active ONIC PH members in the last minute, Bren pushed hard in ONIC's base with only OhMyV33nus' Chang'e in the defense against four Bren Esports members as Dlar was looking to steal the lord.
Bren Esports wasted no time and completed the sweep 14-11 in less than 12 minutes with KarlTzy's Claude getting the MVP honors with seven kills and four assists.
ONIC stood at 4-3 with the last two matches being a sweep loss, while Bren earned their seventh win and sixth sweep of the season.
Ribo and company looks to extend their lead further as they will take Omega PH on September 25, while ONIC will try to avoid a to further skid against Nexplay Solid on Sunday.
