MANILA—Chooks-To-Go Pilipinas 3x3 is now setting its sights in upgrading its President's Cup to a full bubble.

This after the Inter-Agency Task Force on Thursday denied the league's "semi-bubble" proposal.

In the original proposal, the 12 participating teams will converge at the said academy situated inside the National University campus in Calamba, and after two legs of play, they will immediately go back to their homes, undergo a 14-day quarantine, and go back to Inspire for the next two legs.

But with the Department of Health, the main component of the IATF, standing firm that a full bubble must take place for sporting events amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Chooks 3x3 is abiding by it.

"We are committing to doing a full bubble with each conference taking place inside Inspire Academy for 15 days," said league owner Ronald Mascariñas after an emergency meeting that took place after getting the IATF veto.

With this shakeup, the possibility of the season start getting pushed back emerged, but Mascariñas said that the Chooks 3x3's organizing team is still trying to get the needed clearances to push through with the scheduled Oct. 2 start.
