MANILA--PBA commissioner Willie Marcial has called up two very important meetings this week to shape up how the planned bubble for the resumption of the season will take place.

Marcial will first meet with a selected group of players from all the 12 member teams on Wednesday before joining the league's board of governors on Thursday to finally decide how the season will continue on.

For the commissioner, the players' meeting will be important on how the board will shape up the bubble.

"Mahalaga ang input nila especially they're the ones going to play and entertain the PBA fans," Marcial said on Sunday via the PBA website.

During the previous PBA board meeting on Friday, a shortlist of three potential venues for the bubble was made, although Marcial did not disclose the said places.

If plans go on smoothly, the PBA may resume play by as soon as Oct. 9.
